Overview

In 2020, Napier Reid supplied a  Potable Water Treatment Plant for the Sultanate of Oman as a self-contained, skid-mounted packaged unit, encased in a closed insulated container. Potable water is produced out of imported desalinated water from the methanol plant and treated within the Potable Water System.

The water treatment plant, with the capability to produce clean potable water at 120m³/day, is comprised of a Re-mineralization Filter System with calcite filter media, one train of UV disinfection reactors,  one chemical injection system, an air-cooler water chiller, a treated water storage and distribution system.

The full scope of supply includes a lot of instruments, interconnection piping, and a PLC control panel.
