Overview

Napier Reid supplied Packaged make-up water treatment system for the Bonny brook Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, Canada, in 2020. This system is comprised of two trains, with a capacity of 135 m3/day each, and is designed  to treat city water into demineralized water through a succession of the following processes:

  1. Softener system
  2. Softened water storage and transfer system
  3. Multimedia filtration system
  4. Reverse Osmosis (RO) and EDI systems
  5. Demineralized water storage, transfer system, and chemical system

The full scope of supply also includes PLC electrical panels attached to each system to control respective processes, three chemical panels, and the shop drawings and manuals.
